Expectations of hunters:
1) Bring another hunter and extend the hunt if feasible
2) Hunt from the outfitter's price list after harvesting donated trophies if additional game are
available and tip generously
Donations may not be combined on one trip unless outfitters agree prior to auction.
Joshua Waite and Military Sportsmen of America (MSA) have donated this Northern Utah turkey hunt for a group of four hunters.
Military Sportsmen of America is a nationwide nonprofit organization with over 5,000 members. MSA is run solely by volunteers who organize hunting, fishing, and other outdoor adventures for military veterans and first responders.
Joshua is the Captain of the Utah MSA chapter and has access to over 1,000 acres of private property on which he can escort hunters. This hunt is for two days and will take place in the fall of 2024 or early 2025. Joshua will escort the four hunters who will use blinds or the spot and stalk method.
Proceeds from this donation will be used to purchase hunting gear for the Utah MSA chapter to further assist Utah veterans and first responders as they pursue affordable hunting opportunities close to home. This is a rare opportunity to hunt with four buddies or family members so close to home with all proceeds supporting a great cause.
Hunters will meet near Ogden on the first morning of the hunt and will be responsible for lodging that evening. They will meet again the next morning for the second hunting day unless hunters harvested their birds on the first day.
Included: Two days hunting on private land, hunting blinds, field assistance with bird prep, turkey calls, and instruction for hunters on how to call birds.
Not Included: Transportation, lodging, meals, small-game license, turkey tag, and gratuities.
