Tim Berninger from Tidal Charters has donated this 3 day and 4 nights all-inclusive guided fishing trip for two people. You will fish 3 full 8-10 hour days on the water on our flagship Grady White Sailfish "Gaffer ll". This trip will take you into some of the most productive waters on the coast, where you will get to experience the thrill of salmon fishing like never before. In addition to plentiful Chinook and Coho salmon, the waters around Port Hardy are also loaded with bounties from the bottom, such as Halibut, Lingcod and Rockfish. You’ll be fishing with the top quality equipment such as Islander and Accurate Reels, Shimano Rods, and Scotty Downriggers. This package includes double occupancy waterfront accommodations, all meals, water, and soft drinks while on board! We will also gladly deliver your catch to our friends at Hardy Buoys Custom Sport Caught Processing, ensuring you return with the highest quality fish. Port Hardy is easy and convenient to get to, easily accessible by car and connected to Vancouver with 2 daily direct flights. We are also a short drive away from Comox Airport, which features multiple daily flights to Calgary and Edmonton for a convenient connection. Guests flying into Comox will have convenient access to 3 major car rental services, while guests flying into Port Hardy will have complimentary transportation to and from the airport. 1. Upgrading your hunt, while not required, is certainly appreciated by our donors. If you do not want to add another animal, consider bringing along a friend. This really helps out these outfitters and hunting companies that are trying to help us! With few exceptions, these donors are not wealthy philanthropists, but rather they donate to help wildlife, ensure the future of our sport, and generate new business for themselves. Please do what you can to help!
2. We do our best to solicit donated hunts only from competent outfitters. However, we do not guarantee the quality or success of any hunt purchased at this auction. All of this said, it is important to note that hunts purchased at our auction generally go very well, with both the donor and the buyer being well satisfied. Certain trips such as mountain hunts or spot and stalk hunts require a high level of physical fitness to maximize the opportunity for success. Other trips, such as game ranch hunts, are not physically demanding.
3. If you are unable to attend our live auction in person and wish to place bids for live auction items, you may submit a bid online by establishing an account and providing payment information through our third party online auction representative. To place an absentee bid online, you will need to provide in advance a pre-approved credit card.
