FLORIDA TARPON FLY FISHING TRIP for 1-2 Anglers for 3/4 Day from T’s Guide Service with Capt. Taylor Whitcomb in 10,000 Islands/Everglades National Park, Florida!

VALUE: $650.00

ONE ANGLER FISHES AT A TIME.
TAYLOR USES A SMALLER BOAT WITH A PUSH POLE TO SNEAK UP ON FISH TO MAKE A SHOT AT ONLY WHAT YOU SEE, ESSENTIALLY HUNTING THE FISH.

Capt. Taylor Whitcomb has donated this incredible Tarpon fly fishing trip for 1-2 anglers for 3/4 of a day. The trip takes place in the 10,000 Islands/Everglades National Park launching out of Goodland or Chokoloskee, Florida. The best shot at Tarpon is between late March to June months. A 3/4 day and half day may choose a specific tide, time of day, or just meet your schedule.

Fly and light tackle artificial fishing in the Naples, 10,000 Islands, Everglades areas are a year round event. The main event (and Taylor’s favorite target) is tarpon. From 5 pounds to 150 pounds if there are tarpon around, they take priority, with the prime time being spring and summer. Snook and redfish are found consistently through the year ready to eat a fly. The fight of a big snook may be pound for pound one of the best in saltwater fishing while any size redfish will also give you a run for your money. Other species targeted include tripletail, black drum, seatrout, and goliath grouper. All trips can be accommodated to meet the requirements of your stay in the area or feel free to ask what tide may give you the best chance at what you would like to catch. A full day of fishing allows the ability to fish all tides throughout that day, and most of most time chasing fish. A 3/4 day and half day may choose a specific tide, time of day, or just meet your schedule. Night fishing is often a great way to escape the Florida heat and get after hungry fish. These fish will crowd lights or certain currents and with a good cast they will cooperate.

ABOUT CAPT. TAYLOR WHITCOMB
Born an 8th generation Floridian and raised in Tampa, saltwater fishing has been an integral part of Taylor's life for as long as anyone can remember. From a young age he was fortunate enough to explore many different Florida fisheries with his family. As he grew older an unhealthy fascination with tarpon quickly took ahold of him. For as long as he can remember, running a fishing charter is about all Taylor has wanted to do. Taylor now resides in North Naples, a quick drive to 10,000 Islands and the Everglades National Park where the dream of running charters has become a reality. When not running a charter, he can be found on the water with his wife, dogs, or friends. You can often find him out until dark studying how different fish and bait pattern when all boats seem to have gone in, finding solace in the quiet wilderness that is 10,000 Islands.

Whether you are a novice or experienced angler, Taylor would love to take you fishing in what he thinks is one of Florida's most beautiful landscapes. Taylor is a fully licensed and insured charter captain. Running charters out of a Maverick HPX-V 17 which can comfortably fish 1-2 anglers for fly fishing and/or light tackle artificial trips. Your trip can be accommodated for your time in the area or you can reach out ahead and reserve a tide best suited for your goal.
