Donations may not be combined on one trip unless outfitters agree prior to auction.
Chris and Sonja Harmse of Muvhimi Buffalo Safaris are making their first donation to our chapter, and it is a fantastic package for two hunters for seven days. Eight trophies are included: Gemsbuck, Zebra, Impala, and Warthog for each hunter.
Chris and Sonja started Muvhimi Buffalo Safaris in 2023 and quickly became good friends and supporters of our chapter. They focus on tailor-made Buffalo trophy hunting safaris and a wide variety of other trophy animals. Their hunts cater for the discerning hunter who wishes to harvest those special character trophy animals. To achieve this personalized service objective, Chris guides each hunt himself and Sonja joins each hunt as well to ensure the camp experience is as memorable as the hunt.
His love of the bushveld, hunting, and wildlife conservation are the reasons Chris became a professional hunter and outfitter. After a successful career in construction Chris started wildlife ranching over a decade ago and has guided as a professional hunter for prominent outfitters for several years. Chris also lectures at the local professional hunting school to help shape the up-and-coming generation of professional hunters. Sonja enjoyed a career in business development and marketing and shares Chris’ love for hunting, and passion for wildlife conservation. She enthusiastically joined Chris in this venture and oversees the operational and marketing aspects of the business. Sonja is also a skilled writer and volunteered to spearhead a new quarterly newsletter for our chapter, which members will enjoy starting in 2024.
This hunt will take place in Limpopo Province on large hunting concessions. The accommodation is private and luxurious. Their camps are perfect for a romantic getaway for couples, families, or friends who wish to share a magical time in the bushveld, as they never book different groups together. Sonja is always on hand to take care of all your needs in camp, and they pay a great deal of attention to the finer details of the entire experience.
Included: Daily rates for seven days and six nights for two hunters, trophy fees for two Gemsbuck, two Zebras, two Impala, and two Warthogs, pick up from OR Tambo International Airport on day of arrival to camp and back to airport on day of departure, lodging, meals and beverages (local beers and wine), daily laundry, professional hunter, tracker, skinner, hunt vehicles, trophy field dressing and taxidermy prep, and transport to local taxidermist.
Not Included: Airfare, hotels (if required), rifle import license, firearms rental ($25/day and $8/round), gratuities, and additional trophies per price list.
Available Upgrades: Extra hunting days $315/day, observer $175/day

Hunts, Trips, Services. All hunts, trips, and services are provided solely by the “Third Party.” SCI does not perform any of the services related to travel or any hunt, trip, or service, as all are the responsibilities of the Third Party and Purchaser. Any negotiations or changes or additions to the “Description, Third Party/Merchandise” is strictly between the Third Party and Purchaser.
Merchandise. SCI has obtained all merchandise/goods from Third Parties. Purchaser understands and agrees that SCI makes no warranty and bears no responsibility for the quality, quantity, or fitness for any use of any merchandise, as all are the responsibility of the manufacturer. Purchaser understands and agrees that SCI has not inspected or tested any merchandise and Purchaser agrees to assume all responsibility for the testing and use of the merchandise.
