Hein Funk of Big Water Safaris is offering a 6 Days (5 hunting days) hunt for 2 Hunters.

Trophy fees include 4 cull animals (1 x large animal (Blue wildebeest or Red Hartebeest) and 3 x small animals (Blesbuck, Warthog Springbuck) Value for each hunter. Valued at $4000 per package.

Big Water Safaris has the exclusive rights to hunt on Laohu Valley Reserve which was established in 2002. The reserve spans both sides of the Gariep River with more than 38 Km (23 miles) of riverfront and consists of 33000 hectares (83000 acres).

Hunters need to fly into to Bloemfontein airport in South Africa, connecting via Johannesburg or Cape Town. Where you will be met by one of our staff members and transported to the reserve (2 ½ hours).

Rifles can be hired @$200 per rifle for the week, Hunters are more than welcome to upgrade to trophy animals or shoot more.

Wives or observers will be accommodated @$200 per person per night.

Additional hunters are welcome. To buy the same package, 6 Days (5 hunting days) 4 x cull animals (1 x large animal (blue wildebeest or Red Hartebeest) and 3 x small animals (Blesbuck, warthog springbuck). The value is $2000.

Hunt is good for the 2026/2027 season
