Outfitters have generously donated the hunts offered in our auction. If you purchase a hunt, you are responsible for contacting the outfitter to identify yourself as the winning bidder and to clarify the details regarding the outfitter’s donation. Please consider adding days and/or animals, or bring an additional hunter at the Outfitter's regular price.
Hunt with Bronkhorst Safaris for a selection of Africa’s nocturnal rodents, small cats and predators. (Permit applications must be done for species). This hunt includes 7 days of hunting for one hunter on a 1x1 guide basis. Includes 3 observer days which can be upgraded to hunt. Also included is 10 observer days for one non-hunter. Species to be taken: one each of the following - Porcupine, small or large Spotted Genet Cat, Black Back Jackal, Springhare, Caracal and Civet Cat. Honey Badger ($1750), Serval Cat ($2750), Bushpig ($1250), Spotted Hyena ($3750) can be added as well as other species per price list. Includes: One spa treatment for the observer and an afternoon of sundowners and fishing on the Little Zambezi, lodging, meals, field prep trophies and transport to shipper. Not included: Airfare, accommodations prior to and after safari, CITIES permits, gun permit, dip and pack. Arrival and departure day is $225 per person per day, road transfer @ $500 per vehicle (4 pax). Extra hunters welcome at $395/day 1x1 or $295 2x1, non-hunters at $225/day. Fly into OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg. Hunt can be taken in 2022 or 2023. SPECIAL NOTES: A $1000 non-refundable deposit per hunter which will be credited to your safari account to confirm safari dates and quota. Any requested alternative hunting areas will be at normal daily rates. NO BACK-TO-BACK COMBINATION OF HUNT DONATIONS. Sunday is a day of rest and charged at observer rate. Alcohol, wine, malt and soft drinks excluded. Certain species need hunting permits to be applied for. Terms of business: As per Bronkhorst Safaris brochure and price list. Terms of Sale
1.The auctioneer has the final authority on the amount paid for any item and with identifying the purchaser of any item.
2. If after the auctioneer declares any item "sold", a contest arises between bidders as to who was the successful bidder, the auctioneer reserves the right to reopen the bidding on the contested item.
3.ACSCI has exercised reasonable care and prudence in the selection of auction and raffle items, but cannot accept liability for their use, or misuse, and makes no warranty as to their suitability, safety or function either expressed or implied. ACSCI cannot be held responsible for typographical errors.
4. The purchaser waives any claim for liability against ACSCI or the donor of any property or service, and neither ACSCI nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the utilization of any property or services sold. If any action or claim is made against ACSCI by an individual, entity, or state, local, federal, foreign or political body for any matter whatsoever arising from the use of the auctioned items, or any actions or parties conducting business with respect to the auctioned items, the donor and/or purchaser will pay ACSCI’s attorney fees and costs and will hold ACSCI harmless from any judgments thereon.
5. The purchaser is responsible for contacting the outfitter to identify as the winning bidder of the hunt and to clarify the details regarding the donation. No back-to-back combination of hunt donations. Please remember to thank the outfitter for their support of the Adirondack-Catskill Chapter of SCI.
6. If you will be traveling out of the state or country for your hunt, it is your responsibility to learn the rules, regulations and laws of any State or Country where you will be traveling to/from. This includes but is not limited to visas, passports, trophy importation, firearms, medical requirements, and legal restraints to entering/leaving a country. ACSCI is not responsible for any problems you may encounter during your travels. No refund of your purchase will be considered based on your lack of due diligence when planning your trip.
7. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS ON ANY ITEM. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE SATISFACTION OF THE DONOR OR THE BUYER.
