This is a perfect first-time African hunt — you will get a great “taste of Africa” while hunting three of the common species for each of two hunters.
This central South Africa hunt is for 6 days, 5 nights, plains game hunt for two hunters.
There is a total sum of 6 trophies included in this donation (NOT 6 trophies per hunter).
- 1x warthog, 1x common blesbok, 1x common OR springbuck
- 1x common duiker, 1x common steenbuck, 1x black OR blue wildebeest
While on safari your luxury accommodation will include full safari staff, meals, trophy fees for donated species and field prep of trophies. Lodge offers wifi, daily laundry, bar, swimming pool, cigar and trophy lounge, spa treatments and more. Hunt can be upgraded and extended per outfitter's price list. Not included are before and after hunt expenses, firearm clearance, packing & shipping of trophies and gratuities.
INCLUDED
- Accommodation, meals, soft drinks and day fees for 6 days and 5 nights for 2 hunters.
- Trophy fees for 6 animals as indicated (NOT trophy fees for 12 animals).
- Full safari staff, including 2 PH's with hunting vehicles, trackers, skinners and camp staff.
- Field preparation of trophies i.e., skinning, salt, tag and delivery to taxidermist.
EXCLUDED
- Additional hunter and observer fees.
- Firearm clearance at certain airports @ $35 per firearm each way. This is not a JOS charge.
- Liquor, beer, wine and mixes at cost price plus 10%.
- Additional vehicles for larger groups.
- 15% Value Added Government Tax (VAT) on value of package.
- Hunting licenses in certain provinces @ $60 each.
- Rifle hire @ $50 per rifle per day, ammo at cost.
- Additional trophies as per 2023/2024 price list.
- Flights and/or hotel accommodation before, during and after safari.
- Taxidermy and shipping.
- Transfer fee from nearest airport to hunting concession and return, $500 per vehicle (max 4 people).
UPGRADE

The Purchaser (winning bidder) of any physical items will be responsible for the cost, with payment in advance, of any shipping, crating, packaging and insurance associated with delivery.
SCI SFBA assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No physical merchandise will be delivered to winning bidders until SFBA bank confirms full payment has been received. All physical merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction.
Trips purchased online will have the hunt packet emailed to them.

Any warranties with respect to items, hunts or trips are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacturer or donor. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer, shall be the purchaser. In case of dispute between bidders, the auctioneer, shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder
It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the hunt or trip donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements. If you fail to contact the donor within thirty days of the date of your purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
All auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all hunts or trips must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
A majority of outfitters do not allow "stringing" of donation hunts (purchase of multiple hunts in a single country), even if it is not explicitly stated in the hunt description, so please don't buy more than one hunt per country. If you want to string together two or more donated hunts, be sure to gain the approval of ALL the outfitters ahead of bidding, to ensure they will honor your purchases.
Auction hunts are donated in good faith by the donor. Donations are made to both raise money for our core missions, and secondly to attract new customers to outfitters. Most outfitters do not accept multiple purchases by the same bidder to be used all together as one item. Please be respectful of the opportunity you have been offered!
Auction hunt buyers must be flexible as some dates are inevitably booked by the outfitter or professional hunter.
