Do not miss this amazing opportunity to hunt trophy Reindeer on Nunivak Island Alaska with a native Eskimo transporter. This hunt takes place on the tiny remote island of Nunivak in the Bearing Sea off the west coast of Alaska. The reindeer herd on this island has not been hunted in over 20 years and the trophy quality is nothing short of outstanding. The current heard size is more than 3,000 animals. You will be in the field with a lifelong Nunivak Island native Cup’ig Eskimo who has helped countless Muskox hunters take their trophies on the island for over 30 years. You will be staying in a heated cabin or tent depending on the location of the animals. The method of travel during the hunt will be boat, ATV or snow mobile depending on current conditions. The 7-day hunt can be conducted during September, October, November, or December. You will need to fly commercially to Mekoryuk Alaska where you will be met by your transporter. There is no draw or application for this permit, the hunter must purchase a reindeer permit from your transporter upon arrival. Nunivak Island is very remote place with extremely limited amenities, hunters will need to bring their food for the hunt with them to the island which can be picked up either in Bethel or Anchorage. Do not miss this rare opportunity to take a giant bull reindeer. There is only one permit available for Nunivak Island reindeer this year, if you have the winning bid, it will be yours. This hunt is provided by Abe David, Nunivak Island Experiences (907) 545-8333.
