• DAY 1 | ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK, Okakuejo Camp
After pick-up in Windhoek or at the international airport, we drive north towards Outjo and Etosha National Park, known for its vast amount of wildlife, including 4 of the big 5: Elephant, rhino, leopard and lion. • DAY 2 | ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK / Etosha Safari Lodge
A full day’s game drive, leaving early to enjoy the cool morning air, we drive through Etosha in the direction of Halali and Namutoni, enjoying the view of the massive Etosha Pan. We will visit several waterholes, where the abundance of wildlife is focused, with a chance to view up to 114 different game species, and for the avid birder, in excess of 340 bird species.
• DAY 3 | ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK / DAMARA MOPANE LODGE
Half day game drive in Etosha National Park, then drive to Damara Mopane Lodge to the western side of Outjo. You will enjoy the change of scenery, relax at the extra-large swimming pool or in your stylish room. The buffet dinner is a wonder experience!
• DAY 4 | DAMARA MOPANE LODGE / Twyfelfontein / Windhoek
Accompanied by a local Damara guide, we visit Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 2500 bushman rock engravings and drawings. A picnic lunch, refreshments and snacks will be served. Visit the Petrified Forest, have a chance to see a welwitschia plant, visit a Damara cultural village to learn how the people live, their beliefs, traditions and customs.
