Willie Botha of Legadema Hunting Safaris is donating a true classical 10-day cape buffalo safari for 1 hunter, which includes the trophy fee for one buffalo in the Musengezi Concession of Mozambique.
Legadema Hunting & Safari's exclusive Mussinguezu hunting concession in the Tete province of Mozambique. The concession is roughly 300,000 acres in size unfenced hunting area surrounded by more than 5,000,000 acres of unfenced wild area. The northern border is the mighty Zambezi River (Cahora Bassa catchment area) and the southern border is Zimbabwe. Here you will find here some of the largest crocodiles in the world and a good number of elephants, buffalo, hippos, lion, leopard, and plains game.
This is as close as you can get to the Old Way of African hunting. It is a tented camp, solar powered, and each unit has a shower, handbasin and ablution with hot and cold water. The camp is right on the banks of the Furumwe River.
1. Every hunter that hunts a buffalo can also add a crocodile for $4500 (13- 16 feet) trophy fee. The winning bidder can also hunt a hippo for $6000, but quota is limited and must confirm availability. Contact outfitter for possible available quota on lion, elephant, and plains game.
2. The winning bidder can bring up to 1-2 additional buffalo hunters at the special discounted price of $9000 per hunter (day fees and cape buffalo trophy fee included).
The Musengezi Concession is one of the few areas left in Africa where you have the opportunity of a true classical big five safari combined with a variety of plains game, fishing and bird shooting.
Legadema offers diverse hunting grounds, including vast grasslands, flood plains, palm savannahs and thick forest in their exclusive 250,000-acre concession, situated in the middle of more than 5 million unfenced acres.
Included: Trophy fees for one Cape Buffalo, roundtrip transportation to the Tete Airport, hunting license, gun license, community fees, accommodations, field transportation, 1x1ph and staff services, meals, laundry, tiger fishing and a free visit to local school/village if time permits. Minimum Caliber for dangerous game is .375.
Not included: are international/domestic airfares, Hotel (if required) $60 per night, additional trophy fees, dip-n-ship and gratuities.
The donation is good for available dates 2025 or 2026.

The following provisions will apply to Bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Online Bidders must complete an online registration for approval. A credit card must be provided. You must also provide the CVV security code for the registered Credit Card.
2. This is an auction with reserve. Successful bids must meet the established reserve amount, if any, to win the item. The highest bidder’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount of each successful bid (that meets the established reserve).
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The highest bidder is subject to a 4% Credit Card/Transaction fee. This is added onto the value of the winning lot.
3. Online Bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
4. Mid-Atlantic Bowhunters Chapter of Safari Club International reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
5. If Bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, Bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased. Users agree that any arbitration or remedies sought in any way will be initiated within the closest local jurisdiction within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
6. Mid-Atlantic Bowhunters Chapter of Safari Club International reserves the right to terminate Bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict Bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
7. ALL ITEMS SOLD THROUGH MID-ATLANTIC BOWHUNTERS CHAPTER OF SAFARI CLUB INTERNATIONAL ARE RECEIVED FROM THIRD PARTY VENDORS.
SERVICES: ALL SERVICES, HUNTS OR OTHERWISE, IN THE LIVE AUCTIONS, HAVE BEEN ACQUIRED FOR AND ARE TO BE FURNISHED BY THIRD PARTIES AND CONTAIN THE SAME RESERVATION SET FORTH UNDER “GOODS” ABOVE.
