Experience the ultimate mountain hunt, as you chase the “King of the Cliffs”, the Aoudad. Nothing compares to the raw challenge of hunting the legendary Barbary Sheep in the rocky canyons of Chihuahua.
This is not an easy hunt, you will battle against steep terrain, loose rock, and dizzying heights. The hunt requires strong legs, sharp instincts, and an unbreakable will. This is a real mountain hunter’s dream!
This offering is for two (2) hunters in the mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico where each hunter will spend seven (7) days looking for an opportunity to harvest an Aoudad Ram (1 for each hunter). Outfitter states that 30”+ rams are possible while on this hunt.
This is a fully guided hunt, experienced guides will take you directly to the best hunting spots, find the perfect blinds, and will get you around the property efficiently. In addition, they will help skin, clean, and prepare your trophy for the shipment home.
Hunters should expect possible longer shots in windy conditions, so outfitter recommends a flat shooting fast caliber (ie. .270, 7mm, .30-06, and 300 Win Mag), and be well zeroed.
Accommodations include comfortable lodging or haciendas with running water, showers, and Wifi (where available), home cooked Mexican cuisine, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages (some alcohol available).
To be taken from November through March 2027 or 2028.
***Specific dates for hunt to be negotiated by Winner and Outfitter***
