5-Day, 4-Night Rusa Deer Hunt on Mauritius Island for 1 Hunter and 1 Non-hunter with add-on Wild Boar Option.
Lionel Berthault started guiding on Mauritius Island in 2003 as the first professional hunting guide on the island. He targets Rusa Deer and Wild Boar, but the winning bidder may also enjoy Marlin and Tuna fishing among other species of fish that can be pursued from this island on a separate excursion.
This package includes 4 nights of lodging with ocean views, airport transfers, all meals with breakfast and dinner in LA VILLA LA VIE LA, 1 Rusa Deer Trophy Fee (up to 34”), permit, rifle rental, ammo, guide, and hunting area transfers.
Wild Boar may be taken for $300 Trophy Fee. Trophy Rusa Deer that exceed the 34” length mark are charged an additional $1,500. A second Rusa Deer may be added for $2,750. Additional days may be added to this package for $200/night.
Hunter is responsible for airfare, trophy shipping, cape salting (approx. $250), as well as trophy prep, sanitary services, and veterinary permit ($600 combined).
Method of take is rifle or bow. Schedule hunt with outfitter on available dates between June and November 2023 or 2024.
