Welcome to our 9th Annual Fundraising Banquet and Auction for the Manitoba Chapter of Safari Club International. SCI is the largest hunting organization in the world, that supports the rights of hunters and the freedom to hunt, while protecting all the game species of the world for future generations to enjoy. We have a lot of quality hunting and fishing trips in the auction tonight, as well as top notch guns, equipment and beautiful artwork.

Manitoba SCI, your Chapter, continues to fund local as well as national and international projects, helping SCI’s mandate of protecting the hunter and the game animals we pursue, with projects funded on all three levels, including CONSERVATION (Moose Decoy for Manitoba Conservation, BC Grizzly closure, Area 26 wolf study, Sharp-tails Plus Foundation Inc., numerous anti poaching units), EDUCATION (Manitoba Sporting Clays Association, Generation X Youth Anglers, 8 Manitoba SCI bursaries to date, various local club funding) and HUMANITARIAN (over 15 Blue bags to Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Romania and Croatia, Soldier on hunts, as well as some local programs).

Safari Club International - First for Hunters is the leader in protecting the freedom to hunt and in promoting wildlife conservation worldwide. SCI and your SCI Manitoba Chapter through projects that YOU help fund, show leadership in wildlife conservation and this in turn will allow wildlife to thrive and renew so that all can enjoy for many future generations that will follow. Bidding on an auction, and getting in on the card raffles and our fun games of chance, help Manitoba SCI fund projects that will ensure the wildlife of the world gets a fair shake. The best way to experience one of these fantastic trips, is to be the high bidder tonight, you will have a great time with these tried and true outfitters, and at the same time, you will be helping out conservation projects of SCI.

Hunting has been under attack as of late, even the legal importation of trophies are being banned, and organizations like SCI and your local Manitoba Chapter have helped fund projects and causes that help protect the hunter as well as the species we love to hunt. SCI is “first for hunters”. We ALL must have the highest respect for the land and the animals we hunt, and help properly manage them so future generations will be able to do all the things in the outdoors that make us who we are. We are hunters, and proud of it. Please join us, and help wildlife and hunters, locally, nationally and internationally, for future generations to enjoy.
