This is a collection of First Editions by the famous author, Jack O'Conner.
Jack was a writer for Outdoor Life magazine. He wrote many books on hunting, shooting and his favorite animal to hunt, Sheep.
Jack lived in Southern Arizona before moving to Idaho. Jack hunted the world and wrote books on his travels and experiences.
Jack and his wife were both great shooters. Both hunted Coues Deer in Arizona and Sonora, Mexico. Jack also wrote two novels. Jack's favorite caliber he made famous, the tried-and-true Winchester 270 rifle.
In this collection is one of his novels, Horse and Buggy West. There are two of them, one book is bound with a plastic cover, the other with a paper cover. One book is in excellent condition, the other is in good condition. Both books are rare and hard to find first editions.
The book Jack O'Conner by Robert Anderson is signed by one of Jack's friends, Eldon "Buck" Buckner, who owns one of Jack's rifles now.
