Up for auction is a 5 day Rifle Backpacking Coues Deer Hunt in the Wilderness of New Mexico.
This is a great opportunity for a hunter in peak physical condition that would like to push the envelope for a truly once in a lifetime buck and an experience to match.
As the Hunter, you can expect to pursue unpressured animals that have had little to no human contact. Age and trophy class are at a premium in the backcountry of Southwest New Mexico, with SCI Gold Medal and B&C All-Time being the goal.
This is a draw hunt. Nonresident Pool draw odds are generous, and an entry in to the Outfitter Pool, with 100% draw odds, is available for an additional fee. Many tags are "Any Antlered" and Mule Deer may also be pursued.
Hunter may also add on a Black Bear tag.
The prospective hunter will be expected to be able to pack in his/hers lightweight camp in excess of 5 miles in rugged and remote country. Horses may be arranged for an additional fee.
The primary method of hunting will be spot and stalk.
Not included are gratuities, NM tag and license fees, and travel from Albuquerque or El Paso if traveling by air.
Hunt is for 2027 or later.
