Bobby Boido, President of Coues Outfitters, has brought us this hunt for Desert Bighorn Sheep that takes place in the dry, rugged mountains of Sonora, Mexico. All free-range spot and stalk, your guide will show you plenty of sheep to choose from. They look for 7 year or older rams of 165” or more! Shots can be from 100 to 500 yards. They will stay until you kill a ram if needed! Hunt is for 10 consecutive days from November 2024 thru February 2025. The hunter may choose rifle, bow or muzzleloader. Not included is dipping and pack ($400) and trophy transport to shipper ($1,800). Hunt may be upgraded to include Mule Deer ($13,500), additional hunters can be added for $60,000 (Desert Big Horn) and non-hunters for $500 (entire trip). Includes: Gun permit, hunting license/tag; CITES permit for importing the horns and hide back into the United States; lodging and all meals at the ranch; transfer from the Tucson Airport to the ranch in Mexico and return to Tucson; guides and assistants; use of 4x4 truck on the ranch. Not included: Tips; lodging and meals before or after the hunt; costs associated with handling the trophy (care and cleaning of the trophy by a local taxidermist, presentation of the horns with the government of Sonora to install pin in horns, fumigation, storage until trophy is exported); export of the trophy; packing and shipping of the trophy to the hunter or assigned taxidermist. For questions on this hunt or a list of references, please contact Bobby Boido at either 520-490-8367 or bobby@couesoutfitters.com. Chapter member JJ Westgate bought this hunt at last year’s Fundraiser and was successful on the first afternoon of his hunt in December 2023, when he shot a ram that green scored over 174 inches! You won’t be disappointed!
