Dennie is a long range accomplished competitive shooter and a hunter since he was 12 years old, competing in at least one shoot each month from 22 rimfire to the 375 Cheytac! Dennie and Matt just built a 6.5 Weatherby RPM in a Heavy Tactical configuration for competition and it shots under ½ MOA with 150 grain Sierra’s at 3030 FPS.

Barrel: K&P Barrels of Rapid City SD. Ken Johnson owner and master machinist is also a competitive shooter with virtually all the 50 BMG records at the 2-mile challenge. He was production manager for HS Precision before retiring and getting back to his passion of building barrels. This barrel is a sporter contour fluted stainless steel, 1/8 twist. Stock: HS Precision PSL149 - Remington 700 BDL Long Action Rifle Stock - H-S Precision (hsprecision.com). The stock is also a new introduction to the H-S Precision line up. Designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house, the PLC stock features an ambidextrous vertical grip with an adjustable cheek piece, allowing the hunter to get into a stable shooting position and maintain proper sight picture and eye relief regardless of the terrain or conditions.
Bottom Metal: HS Precision Detachable Magazines Archives - H-S Precision (hsprecision.com) The magazine boxes are constructed of stainless steel, Cerakoted™ in a matte black finish, and feature an extremely durable polymer boot that encompasses the bottom of each mag. The polymer boot provides a great foundation for easily installing and removing the magazine box. We use a stainless-steel follower with an extra-large spring to ensure the rounds stack properly, regardless of how long you leave them loaded. They feature a center-feed, center-stack design that allows the cartridge to be directly in-line with the chamber every time, every round. The bolt simply must push the cartridge out of the magazine box directly into the center of the chamber. Dennie uses this bottom metal in all the custom builds for hunting or competition, they are the best of the best. Dennie also worked part time for HS Precision as their rifle accuracy qualifier!

Where shipping is required, it will be the bidder’s responsibility to pay for the packaging and shipping. Any firearms shipments, the purchaser will have to pay the transfer fees to the FFL dealer and provide a copy of the FFL license to First Stop Gun Shop in Rapid City, SD.

All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned hunts, services and/or items, including fishing trips (hereinafter “hunts”).
All such auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all such hunts must be used within one year of the date of purchase or work with the outfitter to change the dates of the hunt.
The purchaser (winning bidder) must contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase.
If the purchaser fails to contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits.
SCI-GDC is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
SCI-GDC has made reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts, items, and other services; however, SCI-GDC does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
All donors provided notice on the SCI-GDC donation form, or other supporting documents they submitted to SCI-GDC with their donation, specifics regarding the duration (in days) of the hunt/service and the available date range for completion of the hunt or service offered in the donation. They also addressed what lodging/accommodations are offered and what trophy fees are included with the donation. A copy of this donation form (and/or supporting documents) will be provided to the winning bidder if he/she requests the subject documents formally in writing to SCI-GDC within 12 months of the auction date.
SCI-GDC does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of any trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
Several bid items have undisclosed reserve amounts. The seller or its designee reserves the right to bid up to, but not over, the undisclosed reserve amount.
The goods and services offered in the auction are sold “as is,” including any faults or defects, and without any express or implied warranty or guarantees on the part of SCI-GDC or Safari Club International (SCI). SCI-GDC and SCI make no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
The winning bidder acknowledges that SCI-GDC and SCI cannot be responsible for, or liable for, any political unrest, epidemic, acts of god, or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can SCI-GDC or SCI be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
