Jaco Strauss of Kwalata Safaris has generously donated this very special hunt to Vita Dart a BLACK Rhino in South Africa with a veterinarian. Kwalata Safaris, in partnership with the Kaingo Conservation Foundation, is pleased to announce a unique conservation opportunity for our valued clients and supporters during the 2025 season. We will be conducting a carefully planned and necessary conservation program involving the darting of one of our Black Rhinos. This program will encompass the dehorning and microchipping of the animal. To further support these crucial conservation efforts, we are offering the auction winner the opportunity to participate in the rhino darting program. This not only provides a chance to witness firsthand the direct impact of your support on rhino conservation but also contributes to your Big 5 experience. We believe this initiative will be a rewarding and unforgettable experience for all involved. This special opportunity will take place in the Waterberg Wilderness Reserve, a 55,000 acre Dangerous 7 property, between May and September of 2025 only. No other dates are available. Included in this hunt are the trophy fee for one Black Rhino Darting, 7 Hunting days and 8 nights stay, 1x1 guided safari for 1 hunter and a non-hunting companion. Method of take is with dart gun which is provided by Kwalata. Also included are accommodations, full safari staff, meals, trophy fees for donated species and airport transfers. Hunt can be upgraded and extended per the outfitters current price list. Please discuss with Jaco other animals that are available. Additional hunters, non-hunters and trophies are always welcome. Not included are before and after hunt expenses, trophy fees for additional animals, flights, firearms permit and clearance, dip and pack, shipping of the trophies, taxidermy nor gratuities.
