Bison hunt with Tatonka Flats
Here is a 3 day hunt for one hunter in northern Alberta, Canada from September 2023 to February 2024 only. Method of take is hunter's choice.
.
Come hunt a mostly treed, rolling landscape with grassy meadows and beaver ponds, as well as spruce muskegs. There are a number of cutlines and trails allowing good access to hunt on foot or with the use of an ATV. Hunts are mostly spot and stalk, or employ the use of heated tower blinds. During the winter, tracking bison through the snow is a challenging, but very rewarding way to hunt. Trophy bulls are targeted, being 8-15 years of age, over 2000 pounds, with horns of 20 plus inches! Accommodation is a rustic cabin in the preserve, which is off grid but has power via solar panels and generator, and uses wood to heat. There is also a heated shower room and warm water. Hunters who prefer to stay in a hotel can do so in Westlock, Albert at their own cost. The Westlock Inn is recommended.
Other hunters welcome as per price list; non-hunter (1 only per hunter) $300. Extra days not available.
Included: pick up/drop off from Edmonton, Alberta; guide; food; lodging; Field prep of trophy,
Not included: GST (5%) on final bid price and on non-hunter rate; before/after expenses; gun rental and ammunition; firearms permit; alcoholic beverages; meat processing; taxidermy; shipping of meat or trophy; gratuities.
