This 6-day/5-night jungle adventure for two (2) guests in Southern Belize is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Step into the world of the Maya and explore untouched rivers and jungles. Tour the rainforest and awaken your senses to the sounds of exotic birds and wildlife. Fish the flats and re-mote jungle rivers for snook, permit and tarpon. Rope-swing from trees along the Moho River; kayak in the jungle; or maybe visit the many Mayan ruins in the area. Take a 30-foot jump from a waterfall; or learn the history of the cacao tree and its journey to chocolate on a cacao tour. Visit the small town of Punta Gorda on market day and see the vast array of local fruits, vegetables and fish. The lodge is remote, private, totally off-grid, and uses solar power to run all cabanas. We raise fresh crops; harvest local wild fruits; and even tend our own flocks of chickens and goats. Our cabanas are nestled 16 feet above the ground and perched along the slow-moving Moho Riv-er. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned hunts, services and/or items, including fishing trips (hereinafter “hunts”).
All such auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all such hunts must be used within one year of the date of purchase or work with the outfitter to change the dates of the hunt.
The purchaser (winning bidder) must contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase.
If the purchaser fails to contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits.
Lubbock SCI is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
Lubbock SCI has made reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts, items, and other services; however, Lubbock SCI does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
All donors provided notice on the Lubbock SCI donation form, or other supporting documents they submitted to Lubbock SCI with their donation, specifics regarding the duration (in days) of the hunt/service and the available date range for completion of the hunt or service offered in the donation. They also addressed what lodging/accommodations are offered and what trophy fees are included with the donation. A copy of this donation form (and/or supporting documents) will be provided to the winning bidder if he/she requests the subject documents formally in writing to Lubbock SCI within 12 months of the auction date.
Lubbock SCI does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of any trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
Several bid items have undisclosed reserve amounts. The seller or its designee reserves the right to bid up to, but not over, the undisclosed reserve amount.
The goods and services offered in the auction are sold “as is,” including any faults or defects, and without any express or implied warranty or guarantees on the part of Lubbock SCI or Safari Club International (SCI). Lubbock SCI and SCI make no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
The winning bidder acknowledges that Lubbock SCI and SCI cannot be responsible for, or liable for, any political unrest, epidemic, acts of god, or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can Lubbock SCI or SCI be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
The winning bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
Lubbock SCI reserves the right to add/withdraw any item from the auction line-up.
All donations will be used for efforts to protect our hunting heritage, wildlife conservation projects, and other core missions of SCI and Lubbock SCI, so please bid generously!
