This outstanding seven-day, six-night trip offers one lucky angler the chance to enjoy five and a half days of self-guided fishing in some of Alaska’s most productive and beautiful waters, including Duncan Canal, Frederick Sound, and Sumner Strait. From powerful King Salmon and Coho Salmon to Pink Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, and Trout, this trip offers an incredible variety of fishing opportunities in a true wilderness setting.
Although this is a self-guided adventure, lodge staff provide maps, local knowledge, and expert guidance on where to fish, helping you make the most of every day on the water. Nearby rivers also provide excellent opportunities for fly fishermen pursuing salmon and cutthroat trout. After the day’s catch, lodge personnel will clean, fillet, package, and freeze your fish for the trip home. Dungeness crab traps are also available for even more Alaskan fun. This trip has been generously donated by Frank Stelmack for many years, and many members have enjoyed it with tremendous success. Extra guests are welcome, and one additional fisherman is required.
