Bill Miller of Calder Mountain Lodge, is offering a 6-day 7-night Alaska residents only self-guided black bear hunting and fishing trip for one outdoorsman. With this package you will have 6 full days of hunting and fishing opportunities in some of the most pristine rainforest country and most productive saltwater fishing area in Alaska.

Calder Mountain Lodge is in the tiny fishing village of Pt. Baker on the northern tip of Prince of Wales Island, one of the finest saltwater and freshwater fishing locations in southeast Alaska. No roads go to Pt. Baker; access is only by boat or float plane. Despite the remoteness of the lodge, guests are thoroughly pampered with top notch accommodations and delicious dining in our beautiful lodge.

The winning bidder must be accompanied by at least one full paying guest ($2,495)

Included: Boat transportation from Petersburg, Ak to the lodge, 7 nights 6 days lodging and meals (based on double occupancy), Use of a 18′ custom built aluminum boat equipped with a 60hp motor. Also included in this trip is, fishing rods and reels, terminal tackle, bait, and fuel, G.P.S./Fish Finder combo, radio, rain gear, rubber boots, fish filleting, vacuum packaging and boxing up to 3 boxes.

Not included: Additional hunter/Angler $2,495.00 plus tax. Fish processing over 3 boxes, hunting license, fishing license, Tags, King salmon stamp and fuel. Upgrades to a 20-foot covered boat are available for an additional fee. Tips and gratuity.

Amazing Halibut Fishing:One of southeast Alaska’s most productive salt water fishing areas, Sumner Strait, sustains large populations of halibut, cod, and rockfish. All five species of Pacific salmon migrate through the strait on their way to the streams and rivers of Alaska and British Columbia to spawn. Huge numbers move right past the lodge, providing fabulous salt water fishing is practically on your doorstep. You can just walk outside and catch fish! The calm, protected waters add to the enjoyment to fishing in Pt. Baker, Alaska.

General Information: Transportation from Petersburg, Alaska to the Lodge will be by boat. You are brought directly to the Calder Mountain Lodge private dock.

At the lodge you will be provided with:

- Comfortably furnished guest quarters (two people per room, private bath)
- Delicious home cooked meals (alcoholic beverage policy is BYOB)
- Fishing licenses
• 18′ boats with 60hp motors
- Fishing tackle, bait, and gear
- G.P.S./Fish Finders combo, radios, and downriggers
- All Coast Guard required gear
- Private dock for boats
- Fish filleting, vacuum packaging and boxing up to 3 boxes. Additional fish processing can be done for a reasonable fee.
