We want hunters and outfitters to have a positive experience.
Expectations of hunters:
1) Bring another hunter and extend the hunt if feasible
2) Hunt from the outfitter's price list after harvesting donated trophies if additional game are
available and tip generously
Donations may not be sold, transferred, or combined on one trip with another hunt unless outfitters and chapter agree prior to auction.
Kenneth Jones and Serenity Adventure Charters are once again donating a terrific Alaska water adventure to our banquet. This one features a boat based guided Sea Duck hunt for 4 hunters on FV Serenity or FV Sentinel for 3-days and 4-nights venturing out of Cordova AK into remote, wild, and breathtaking eastern Prince William Sound.
On this trip each hunter will enjoy fully guided waterfowl hunting with an annual limit of 20 sea ducks with a variety of rare and sought after species such as harlequin, Barrow's goldeneye, greater scaup, surf scoter, white winged scoter, long-tailed duck, bufflehead and more. Also enjoy guided saltwater fishing for an unlimited number of pacific cod, variety of rockfish - trip limit of 6 per person (only 1 non-pelagic), and up to 1 lingcod. Optional Feeder King Salmon trolling also included with a limit of two per person.
Winners may add up to two more hunters on this trip and may also upgrade to black bear and/or Sitka black tailed deer. This upgrade will require at least two additional days of hunting, all to be arranged and agreeable to outfitter. If big game upgrade is chosen, hunters may take wolverine and wolves on a limited opportunity basis with no trophy fee.
There will also be exquisite opportunities for sightseeing the northern lights, snow-capped mountains, an optional short glacier hike, and chances for up close encounters with marine mammals such as sea otter, sea lion, humpback whales, orcas, and Dalls porpoise.
Included: 3 days of guided Sea Duck hunting, semi-guided salt-water fishing, four nights lodging, all meals, soft drinks, decoys, saltwater tackle, and airport transportation
Not included: airfare, before and after hunt expenses, license, tags, duck stamps, and gratuities. Tags are all available OTC from Alaska’s department of fish and game.
Available upgrades: For best experience this upgrade is highly encouraged - Hunt may be upgraded to an exclusive charter by adding one or two hunters for an additional $3,000/person for Sea Ducks. Deer and/or Black Bear species may be added with at least two additional days at sea required at a rate of $1,000/hunter/day. Bear upgrade is best in September or early October, to be discussed with outfitter.
