Bernie Karl owner of Chena Hot Springs Resort is offering a 100% donation for a 1 Night, all-inclusive hot springs party at his World-Famous Chena Hot Springs Resort for up to 20 guests, which includes round-trip transportation from Faribanks.
All Inclusive Trip for 20 People to World Famous Chena Hot Springs Resort: This is a full package with behind-the-scenes tours guided personally by owner and showman extraordinaire, Bernie Karl. Includes shuttle to resort from Fairbanks, meals, libations, lodging, and all the tours.
Experience the healing waters of Chena Hot Springs, geothermal technology that powers the farthest north year-round greenhouse, a 20-course meal, northern lights, trails, and drink apple martinis from hand carved ice glasses.
All your food and libations are included. You can pick the day, winter is recommended for the full experience.
The funds from this auction item will be donated to help a family in need who lost everything in a fire this winter in Fairbanks.
This is for 20 people & you can pick the day, but you have to use it on the same day - you & 19 friends / 10 couples / board.
1: One heck of a party. Get there early on the first day to take full advantage of the package.
2: Shuttle: W will pick everyone up at the Fairbanks Airport / or in Fairbanks --> Resort & back
3: Lodging: rooms for 20 people in the lodge.
4: Tours: you get all the tours - (these are usually separate) Geothermal power plant / Ice Hotel (just tour - staying in the lodge) / Farthest North Greenhouse powered by geothermal / Northern Lights / Bernie Karl will be your guide & he'll treat you just like family. This will not be boring! They've got dog sleds and machines for the trails.
5: Food & libations - That's a 20-course meal prepared by Moon Karl and all your beverages. They make apple martinis that will be poured down an ice chute into a carved ice glass made by a real ice carver.
6: Hot Springs Passes – experience the healing waters under the Northern Lights (we recommend doing this during the winter.)
7: This package could be used to hold a wedding, conduct a business meeting, or as part of a great team building trip!

Online Live Auction Policy
All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned hunts, services and/or items, including fishing trips (hereinafter “hunts”).
All such auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all such hunts must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
The purchaser (winning bidder) must contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase.
If the purchaser fails to contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits.
Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture.
SCI-AK is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
SCI-AK has made reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts, items, and other services; however, SCI-AK does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
All donors provided notice on the SCI-AK donation form, or other supporting documents they submitted to SCI-AK with their donation, specifics regarding the duration (in days) of the hunt/service and the available date range for completion of the hunt or service offered in the donation. They also addressed what lodging/accommodations are offered and what trophy fees are included with the donation. A copy of this donation form (and/or supporting documents) will be provided to the winning bidder if he/she requests the subject documents formally in writing to SCI-AK within 12 months of the auction date.
SCI-AK does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of any trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
Several bid items have undisclosed reserve amounts. The seller or its designee reserves the right to bid up to, but not over, the undisclosed reserve amount.
The goods and services offered in the auction are sold “as is”, including any faults or defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of SCI-AK or Safari Club International (SCI). SCI-AK and SCI make no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
The winning bidder acknowledges that SCI-AK and SCI cannot be responsible for, or liable for, any political unrest, epidemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can SCI-AK or SCI be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
The winning bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
SCI-AK reserves the right to add/withdraw any item from the auction line-up.
All donations will be used for efforts to protect our hunting heritage, wildlife conservation projects, and other core missions of SCI and SCI-AK, so please bid generously!
