Our self-guided Sitka blacktail deer hunting trips allow you to take center stage on your own wilderness hunt. We provide all transportation on our custom catamarans, fully equipped with warm bunks for a good night’s rest. When you return to your boat-based cabin, hearty hot meals await – the perfect complement to a day spent in the bush in search of whatever game you choose to target.
Your duck hunting starts by making our way to the bird hunting grounds around nearby Afognak Island. Throughout the day, we will search protected inlets and jetties for sea ducks. You will have the opportunity to set up decoys and work from a shore blind or floating blind.
Your Alaska sea duck hunting guide will use his understanding of the fast-moving tides to help you set up in the best location. You will have ample opportunity to find success at every location. There will also be opportunities for pass shooting in some of the locations we visit.
Our boat based hunting camp will be situated in a bay near hunting grounds and can be accessed quickly via ground to boat transport. Once you arrive at the hunting location you are the guide. You decide where to hunt, what to hunt and when to hunt. Whether you’d like to spend your day hiking and glassing for your trophy buck, cruising the beaches while looking for your next drop-off point, we have you covered! We can accommodate up to 5 hunters comfortably on our vessel.
Our vessels are US Coast guard inspected and are equipped with 5 bunks (memory foam cushions) for hunters, a private bathroom, camp shower area, food prep area, dining area, large covered deck space for game processing/storage, freezer and top of the line electronics.
There’s no better feeling than stepping off the beach after a long successful hunt, right into a warm heated cabin where you can relax while on your way to a hot cooked meal waiting for you just minutes away. After dinner, process your game, hang your boots up to dry and get rocked to sleep by the gentle swell while anchored in a protected bay. The next morning, wake up to some hot coffee and breakfast before doing it all over again!
Not included are transportation to Kodiak, License and gratuity. Hunt dates are October 23 to December 8, 2024.

THE BMCSCI SHALL BEAR NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DELIVERY OF QUALITY OF ANY SUCH SERVICES OR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM, RELATED TO OR CONNECTED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OR NON-PERFORMANCE OF SUCH SERVICES. THE PURCHASER FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT IN THE EVENT SERVICES PURCHASED ARE OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES, BMCSCI CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY POLITICAL UNREST OR INSTABILITY THAT MAY OCCUR OUTSIDE THE CONFINES OF THE UNITED STATES NOR CAN BMCSCI BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES THAT MAY ARISE THEREFROM. Shipping on all items will be the responsibility of the buyer.
This invoice and the terms and conditions hereto apply to and are binding on the heirs, legal representatives, successors and assigns of both parties. This invoice contained the entire agreement between the parties and cannot be changed except buy a routing instrument subsequently executed by the parties thereto.
