New to the SCI Michigan Chapter, Jude Mequet owner of Team Voodoo Adventure’s Gator Hunts is offering a 2-person alligator line hunt.
Team Voodoo Adventures is located in the heart of Southern Louisiana, home to the largest population of alligators in North America.
They will guide you to hunt and trap some of the biggest alligators the South can provide and that's not all.
Hunters will leave with 10 lbs. of processed, prepackaged frozen alligator meat.
Hunters will have the opportunity to choose an alligator (1 per hunter) from their allotted 15-20 lines (to be shared between 2 hunters).
Also includes: 2-night 3-day stay with accommodations and all meals and drinks; transportation to and from Lafayette Regional Airport (up to 4 people); use of .22 magnum rifle. Hunters may bring bow if they prefer and will need plenty of arrows.
It will take more than one arrow to kill an alligator.
Not included: field preparation, trophy preparation, dipping/packing, trophy transport to shipper, license or taxidermy.
Taxidermist takes care of transporting selected gators from the skinner to the tannery.
Cost depends on products wanted.
Skin tanning estimate is $100-$120 per ft.
Due to inspection and permit requirements ALL taxidermy services will be completed by Basin Taxidermy and are not included in package.
